A New Decade with my Seoul Mate (Last Day)
On our last day in Korea, we decided to make the most of our time by visiting two of Seoul’s most popular destinations. We started our day with a visit to the War Memorial Museum, which is located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The museum is dedicated to the memory of Korean soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Korean War and other wars throughout history.
Starting off the new decade with my soul mate, Kelly. We decided to revisit South Korea on January 1, 2020, to spend some quality time together. After a hectic and busy 2019, we were excited to embrace the new year and all its opportunities.
We spent five relaxing days and five chilly nights in the land of the morning calm. South Korea has always held a special place in our hearts, and it was the perfect destination to recharge and reconnect with each other.

As our time in South Korea drew to a close, we wanted to make the most of our final day in this captivating country. Before bidding farewell to the vibrant streets of Itaewon, we decided to treat ourselves to a delectable Korean barbecue feast, savoring every bite while waiting for our airport transportation to arrive. We booked our airport transport via KLOOK for a seamless and convenient ride. With our appetites satisfied, we made our way to Incheon Airport, where we left our luggage behind, eager to explore the enchanting beauty of Songdo Central Park.
A Historical Journey to DMZ Tour, Itaewon Stroll, and Myeongdong Shopping Spree
On the seventh day of our Seoul journey, my husband and eldest son embarked on a half-day tour to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). We initially booked the tour via KLOOK for a seamless and convenient journey. While the boys are out the girls and I stayed home to pack. However, we made the most of our day by exploring the vibrant streets of Itaewon, indulging in delectable churros, bubble tea, and macarons. Later, the entire family reunited in Myeongdong for some last-minute shopping and an unforgettable food trip.

Our itinerary included visits to Lotte World, Lotte Aquarium, and Lotte Tower, promising a day packed with entertainment, marine wonders, and awe-inspiring views.
Our first stop was Lotte World, a renowned amusement park nestled in the heart of Seoul. We booked our tickets via KLOOK. As we stepped foot into this entertainment paradise, we were instantly greeted by an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and laughter. Divided into an indoor Adventure theme park and an outdoor Magic Island, Lotte World offered a plethora of attractions for all ages.
