Annyeong! Cherishing our Last Day in South Korea

A New Decade with my Seoul Mate (Last Day)

On our last day in Korea, we decided to make the most of our time by visiting two of Seoul’s most popular destinations. We started our day with a visit to the War Memorial Museum, which is located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The museum is dedicated to the memory of Korean soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Korean War and other wars throughout history.

As we walked through the museum, we were struck by the scale of the exhibits and the attention to detail that had been paid to every aspect of the museum’s design. From preserved tanks and planes to uniforms and weapons, the museum had an impressive collection of artifacts that gave us a glimpse into the lives of soldiers who fought for their country.

After spending a few hours at the museum, we decided to head over to Han River Park, which is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The park stretches along the banks of the Han River and offers stunning views of the city skyline.

The park was bustling with activity, with families picnicking on the grass, group of friends playing while others are there just to chill with their fur babies. We were just there to kill time, relax and feel the fresh breeze while doing some snaps of the amazing view in front of us. The Han River is truly a sight to behold, and we felt lucky to have had the opportunity to experience it on our last day in Korea.

As the sun began to set, we made our way back to our hotel to collect our belongings and head to the airport. It was bittersweet to say goodbye to this vibrant and fascinating country, but we were grateful for the memories we had made and the experiences we had shared. From the delicious food to the stunning sights, we would always look back on our trip with fondness.

As we boarded our plane and looked out at the city skyline one last time, we knew that we would always hold Korea close to our hearts. It had been an unforgettable adventure, and one that we would cherish for years to come.

We returned home refreshed and renewed, ready to take on the challenges of the new year. Our trip to South Korea was a reminder of the importance of taking time for ourselves and each other, and we look forward to many more adventures together in the future.
