TeamGonzaga’s Epic Journey from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia: A Family Adventure to Remember

First agenda for our Singapore holiday is to go on a side trip to Legoland in Johor Bahru, which is just a one hour drive from Singapore. We booked an overnight stay at 1 Medini via AirBnb. The booking included a shuttle service from Singapore to Johor Baru and back at a nominal price. Opting for a van rental instead of a bus ride proved to be a more convenient option, especially since we had young children with us. This saved us time as we didn’t have to alight the bus and wait in long lines at the Malaysian immigration during the holiday season.

The condo unit had two bedrooms, a spacious living room with a balcony, a functional kitchen for quick cooking, and one bathroom. Moreover, its location was very convenient as it was only a two-minute drive from the condo to Legoland. Additionally, the shuttle service to Legoland was complimentary, and we could also book a Grab Taxi easily from the area.

Upon arriving at Legoland at lunchtime, we headed to Old Town Café for a meal and also purchased our tickets for the next day’s adventure, along with some snacks. The rest of the day was spent relaxing inside the cozy condo, while the kids had a great time playing at the children’s playground.

Before calling it a night, the girls enjoyed a quick swim in the condo’s pool. We then went back to our room and got some rest, eager to tackle the adventures of the following day.
