About Jho Gonzaga

I am a mother with a deep passion for travel. To me, traveling is more than simply visiting new places or immersing myself in different cultures. It's about creating treasured memories with my loved ones, experiencing the highs and lows together, and witnessing the sheer joy on my children’s faces as they encounter new sights and people. Every journey we embark on as a family is like an immersion, it brings us closer while learning and exploring together. Through my website, I aim to share not only my love for travel, but also my enthusiasm for cooking and art. I believe that these passions can complement the travel experience, adding depth and richness to our adventures. By sharing our travel stories, culinary creations, and artistic endeavors, I hope to inspire others to explore their own passions and create meaningful experiences with their loved ones. Together, let's embark on a journey of discovery, connection, and joy. Thank you for joining me on this adventure, and I hope that my website inspires you to pursue your passions, create lasting memories, and find fulfillment in the beauty of life. Life is short. Time is fast. Enjoy every moment. Spread the love. Be a blessing. Smile everyday. Live life to the fullest.

A Day of Nature, Culture, and Culinary Delights in South Korea

TeamGonzaga kicked off the day with an exciting Nami Island/ Garden of the Morning Calm/ Petite France Tour booked via Klook. Our itinerary included visits to the Garden of the Morning Calm, Nami Island, and Petite France, with transportation, entrance fees, and lunch all taken care of.

Filled with anticipation, we rose early and strut out our OOTDs, eager to begin our day’s journey. Our tour guide welcomed us aboard the comfortable 9 seater van, and as we made our way to the first destination, SA Tours surprised us with complimentary bread and water, ensuring we stayed refreshed throughout the day. SA Tours also provided us an authentic Korean dakgalbi (stir-fried chicken) feast over lunch that left our taste buds dancing with delight.

Royalties in Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul is one of the most iconic and historic landmarks of South Korea. And what better way to explore the grand palace than to wear Hanbok and feel that royal vibe. Hanbok is a traditional clothing of Korea, it is typically worn by Koreans during special occasions and celebrations. We rented our Hanboks via Klook (Bukchon Oneday Hanbok Rental Experience) which is good for four hours. And of course, such grand moment should be captured by a professional photographer so we booked Sweet Escape to do the honor.

Day 2: Exploring Korean Culture and Cuisine

Our second day in Korea was dedicated to immersing ourselves in the rich cultural heritage of the country. We had planned a unique experience by booking a Hanbok rental through Klook (Bukchon Oneday Hanbok Rental Experience) a sweet escape pictorial at Gyeongbokgung Palace (I have made a separate post about our Hanbok Photoshoot experience in a different post, you can read it here). The anticipation was high as we couldn’t wait to capture stunning photos in this historical setting.

We arrived at the Hanbok rental shop and were greeted by a friendly staff who helped us choose the perfect traditional Korean attire. The array of vibrant colors and intricate designs made it a tough decision, but we finally settled on our outfits. The Hanbok not only made us feel like we had stepped back in time, but it also added a touch of elegance and authenticity to our photo shoot.
