Our 4th day is filled with action-packed adventure. We spend the entire day at Everland, South Korea’s premier and largest amusement park located in Yongin, about 40 kilometers south of Seoul. From heart-pounding rides to up-close encounters with fascinating creatures, this day was packed with excitement and adventure!

Everland is divided into five main zones: Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure, and Zootopia (which includes the safari adventure). In Zootopia, visitors can enjoy the Safari World, where they can see various animals such as lions, tigers, bears, giraffes, and elephants roaming freely in a simulated natural environment.

We kicked off our day by diving headfirst into the adrenaline-pumping rides that Everland had to offer. From the dizzying loops of the Rolling X-Train to the stomach-dropping free-fall of the Double Rock Spin, we screamed and laughed our way through every thrilling moment. The park had a wide range of rides suitable for kids and kids at heart, ensuring that everyone in Team Gonzaga had their fair share of fun.

After our dose of adrenaline, we embarked on a captivating safari adventure at Zootopia. We boarded a safari vehicle and ventured into the animal kingdom, where we encountered majestic lions, graceful tigers, and even playful bears. It was an incredible experience to witness these magnificent creatures up close, and we were in total awe . To our surprise, the bears even treated us to a charming dance routine, showcasing their natural grace and agility. The kids were thrilled to see the cute bears up close.

The park also boasted numerous restaurants offering a diverse range of cuisines. We found ourselves spoilt for choice. From Korean delicacies to international favorites, there was something to satisfy every palate. Whether craving traditional bibimbap or seeking the comfort of pizza, burgers, and corndogs Everland had it covered.

For those in search of quick bites and snacks, snack bars and candy bars were conveniently scattered throughout the park.

As the day progressed, we took a leisurely stroll through the park’s enchanting gardens, which were adorned with vibrant tulip exhibitions. The sight of these colorful blooms was a feast for the eyes, and we couldn’t resist capturing the beauty on our cameras. The tulip exhibitions added a touch of elegance and tranquility to our day, providing a serene contrast to the exhilarating rides and animal encounters.

As the sun began to set, exhaustion started to set in. To ensure a comfortable journey back to our accommodations, we made use of a convenient transportation service via Klook. With just a few taps on our smartphones, we secured a reliable and hassle-free ride back home. It was a relief to know that we didn’t have to worry about navigating public transportation or finding a taxi after a long and tiring day.

Reflecting on our time at Everland, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for the unforgettable experiences we had shared. From the thrilling rides to the awe-inspiring animal encounters and the tranquil beauty of the tulip exhibitions, it was a day filled with wonder and joy.

As we boarded our transportation, bidding farewell to Everland, we couldn’t help but feel a mix of exhaustion and contentment. Tomorrow, a new adventure awaits Team Gonzaga, but the memories of this day will forever be etched in our hearts.
