My Little Pony Party!

It’s been a hectic week or shall I say a hectic month!

But despite the busy schedule and the school day rush, I managed to squeeze in my youngest daughter’s birthday party preparations.  The chosen theme: My Little Pony- Friendship is Magic.

For the invitation, I downloaded MLP images and opened my digital scrapbooking files so I can create a cute invitation.  Here’s the invitation crafted using Adobe Photoshop.  I sent this as eDMs and have it printed @ 4R size on photo  paper.  Printing per page costs 25 each (you can have 4 images/ invites printed on a 8.5 x 11 size board paper)

My ever-dependable hubby accompanied me to Divisoria land to buy balloons and give-aways for the party. I scouted around 168 mall and luckily I found MLP plushies and got a good deal for an 8” My Little Pony plushy for only P70 each (whole sale price).  Good thing I didn’t grab the first one I saw along Sta. Elena St. which costs P140. The toy is soft and doesn’t look like any other cheapies. (In fairness).

I also went to BODEGA Sale (a building known for selling cheap toys) just across the newly refurbished Divisoria Mall along Tabora St.  On the first floor you can find the famous Andings Toys & Flowers. I was also able to buy cute MLP toys for P35 (whole sale) and Minecraft ‘lego’ toys @ P20 (whole sale) and finger lights, P15 Z (whole).

For the balloons, the best place to buy is at the newly refurbished Divisoria Mall in Tabora St.  It caught fire in 2013, and reopened last February 2016.  Balloons and other party supplies can be found at the basement of the mall. Latex balloons cost P90/ 100 pcs.  Letter Balloons costs P15 per piece.  Character shaped balloons costs P25 (whole sales/ depending on size).  Themed or plain lootbags can also be found in this area as well as buntings and ribbons.  It is a party supply haven indeed. Practice the art of haggling so you can get the best deals 😉

This is my work of art. I didn’t undergo any formal balloon trainings, all are YouTube tutorials.  You’ll get the hang of it for sure. All you need is a very reliable balloon pump and balloons (of course!).

I bought these cute jars and bottles at Japan Home Center @ P66 each.  They’re cute and comes in different sizes.  Bought the candies and other treats @ Shopwise 🙂

Look at this cute personalized dress for my little patootie 🙂 This is a made-to-order dress c/o Toddlers and Beyond

The whole package includes a personalized Pinkie Pie shirt, wings, wand, tutu skirt with tail and a ribbon.

Everyone enjoyed the party, most especially  my little Chaelsy 🙂

Hi Mommy Jho, just saw your post. So, sa Divisoria madami n po mga magagandang MLP items? My daughter will turn 7 on Oct. 13 and since limited budget lang talaga kami pero sana mabigyan namin sya ng magical and colorful bday.

    Thanks for the inspiration.
